With all of the auto repair shops in the area, I’m happy that I chose this shop to go to. I arrived close to when they opened around 7:25 am and I was greeted with a smile and great friendly service! Granted I did not need any serious work, I came in for a dragging skid plate that needed to be tacked back or removed completely and even though it was a minor issue, they were able to get me in and out quickly and provided excellent service! They will definitely be my “go to” location when I need any kind of car repairs. I see why they have “honest” in their name because they definitely appear to be that way! Thank you all so much!

This is a great place to get your car inspected. I was in and out without an appointment in under thirty minutes. And they left some free snacks in my car! 😀

I was impressed with a recent battery replacement. The battery was a challenge to replace due to the location inside the vehicle under the floor of the car. Also, the car was packed due to moving items. They helped pull items out of the car to get to the battery and then helped get all back in after replacement. All done in a reasonable amount of time in order to get on our way.

The name says it all! To our vehicle here to fix the steering fluid issue and they got it taken care of, and even went above and beyond for their customer service! 10/10 would recommend!

Pains me to write this because I had high hopes for this woman owned business, but we had a very disappointing experience last weekend. We’ve taken two of our vehicles here to have oil changes in the past with no issues and superior service. At one of our oil changes, we were told our serpentine belt needed to be replaced. The car doesn’t get driven much so we thought we could put it off a little so my husband asked the mechanic for an out the door quote (including parts and labor) and was quoted $169. We saved money and came back months later to have the service done and made an appointment in advance. Imagine our surprise when the price went up $100! When my husband questioned it at the shop, he was told the original quote didn’t include labor. He was confused but took it as fact but then looked up the cost of the part online and saw the serpentine belt runs for about $69…..labor was to be a little over $100 so how were we mistaken. Again, he called the shop for clarification and was told “it’s called inflation” in a very rude tone. Ironically, I know the owner who picked me up when the car repair was complete and I had no knowledge of my husband’s prior conversations. She told me it was some “dumb blonde” who worked the front desk for her who misquoted him the price for parts and labor. Needless to say, lesson learned and we will not be back. It hurts my heart because I’ve worked with the owner on a professional level but the communication we received was far less than professional. As the saying goes, “fool me once….shame on you. Fool me twice…shame on me. And fool me 3 times…goodbye Dis-Honest1 auto.”

I came in due to an engine light, and car felt as though it was racing. I was told I will be charged a $150 diagnosis fee, but if I opt to repair with them, they will reduce the fee to just $50. Turns out it was a transmission issue they didn’t have the capability at their facility to fix. I was planning to have it done there itself if they were able to fix. I was told I would need to take it to a dealership but they were not willing to atleast reduce the diagnosis fee since I had no other option.

It started off fine. Took mechanic 2 hours to do an oil change and an inspection. Said I failed the inspection cause of the gas cap. Did not explain that to me while I was there. Had to go to a Nissan dealership to find that out then went to auto zone to buy a new gas cap. Why couldn’t he (Honest mechanic) just have told me from jump what was wrong. And he left my car running while I was checking out. Gas too high for that. When I came back for re-inspection, it took another hour and a half for them to check the new gas cap. If I had not said anything about a car that got there AFTER me going before me I would have been there another 2 hours for a $17 gas cap. I will not be returning. Unfortunate that I had the experience I had. I will say however the front desk staff was pleasant.
